Elena Saenz Feehan

Executive Director

Elena Saenz Feehan is the Executive Director at the Global Fund for Widows (GFW). Passionate about equity, she is committed to advancing widow's rights worldwide, ensuring their economic and social empowerment. Before her role at GFW, Elena worked as the Program Manager for Peace, Security, and Defense at Friends of Europe, a leading, independent think tank based in Brussels. She also served as a member of the Steering Committee at Women in International Security (WIIS) Brussels, an organization dedicated to advancing the leadership and professional development of women in the field of international peace, security, and defence.
