Laura Osman is President of Amunet Advisors, an advisory firm offering strategic consulting services to clients worldwide.
From 1996 to 2021, Laura served as Chief Investment Officer of Concord International Investments Group, LP where she was the senior portfolio manager of all the Group’s listed equity funds and a key member of its various Investment Committees. Throughout her tenure at Concord, several of the funds under her management were ranked top performers in the world.
Prior to joining the Concord Group, Laura spent 6+ years in the Asset Management Division of Prudential Securities in New York where she founded and headed Prudential’s Portfolio Analytics Group.
Laura is currently a member of several professional organisations including the Economic Club of New York, 100 Women in Finance and ABANA. She is also a member of the board of the Global Fund for Widows and Vice Chair of the ABANA Board of Directors. In addition to having served on several fund and company boards, Laura is a former President of the Board of ABANA and a former member of the Board of Governors of the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C. She also sat on the boards of the United States Egypt Friendship Society (USEF) and Big Apple Greeters and was an ACP Veteran mentor.
Laura received a BBA in Marketing in 1989 and an MBA in International Finance in 1994 both with honours, from Baruch College, City University of New York.
